Ways To Connect & Serve

From meal prep to campus maintenance, we could not function wholly without the dedication of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, there are plenty of ways you can get involved at Hope Ignites Detroit. Build a relationship with your scholar and create experiences that enable them to grow as an individual and successfully prepare for college and life beyond.

Scholars are assigned a tutor with knowledge of their troubling subject. Tutors meet with scholars at the residential or community-based programs.

Help our scholars prepare for college through enrichment activities and life-changing experiences outside the classroom.

A variety of short-term volunteer options are available such as office assistance, meal preparation, community service projects, and more.
