Our Work
Barriers should not prevent young people from leveraging their strengths, realizing their dreams, or living out their full potential.
Some young people face barriers outside of their control that limit their capability. At the same time, they have inspiring grit, motivation, capacity, and promise; needing access to education and skills that will give them a chance to thrive in life and make a difference in their communities.
They have the ability. We provide the opportunity.
Hope Ignites closes the achievement gap and workforce development divide by acting as a bridge to opportunity throughout middle school and high school into college graduation and career launch.
The Academy pathway provides year-round, after school programming, while Residential adds a primary home with other scholars and round-the-clock care. Additionally, we provide scholarships, support, and connections to internships and jobs for our collegians and alumni.

Hope Ignites reflects the evolution of who we are and the impact we make. In an increasingly competitive landscape of youth-serving organizations, this name distinguishes us from others and clarifies our unique mission and impact.
Our new name reflects the full journey of those we serve—from scholars to young professionals—and better represents the diverse individuals and communities we serve.
